Digifocus PR photography

Posted on April 29, 2016 by Admin under PR/Commercial, Studio portrait

Its the third time Liga come to the studio for the PR images, this time, we are going for something a bit out there. The theme is neon and my thought is to keep the portrait low key but making sure the nails will glow. Almost like glowing stick in the night club. Definitely a departure from the family portraits I usually do in my studio. I think the result speak for itself. You can’t help to notice the nail is the star of the show.

Using blue lighting as a theme for the shoot, the idea is to make the nails look like glow sticks in the dark.

Location PR portraits with different backdrops

I was commissioned to photograph staff members of the national music shop Dawsons Music at their Reading shop. I draft in an assistant to operate the camera for this time-lapse video.

Stunning pets portraits

Posted on by Admin under Pet portraits, Studio portrait

Have the privilege of 3 beautiful French Bulldogs in my studio just a week ago, the result speaks for itself. The dogs belongs to Lyndsey who is a pet breeder. You can find out more about her at Lynseys LittleRascals

It was a great shoot thou very hard work to control 3 very excited dogs. Lynsey did a great job in the studio and we are very happy with the shoot.

Beautiful face

Black dog on black background is one of my speciality when I am doing portraits. This is is the best so far

The ladies

The 3 girls together with different facial expression. Whats really make this photograph is one of the Bulldog’s paw is rest on another’s.

Resting on the back of the bench

This is one of my favourite pose for the dogs, she managed to stay on the back of the little bench for me to capture this fantastic shot.

Best friends

Apart from the different expression of the dogs, the colour of their fur is actually different, one is black and another one is dark brown. Can you tell the difference?

A client wants some images of his new car, A Mercedes Benz AMG A45. Using available equipment I hope I have produced couple of images that encapsulate the sprits of this performance vehicle.

Location corporate portraits

For business or organisations with a number of employees, it would not be feasible to come to the studio for their portraits.  I can however provide a location studio solution in your premises.  This allows me to provide studio quality images without the need for your staff to leave their work place and thereby minimising disruption to their working day. I was on the second day of the shoot in a company in Fleet which I shot this time-lapse video. Its a really quick demonstration to let people know how this will work.

Jayne is the owner of A Type Of Design where she customised items of clothing, mugs or just framed pictures, specifically words/names on the popular “Not on the high street”. She’s impressed with my lifestyle portraits with families and came to me for images of new line of clothing for baby and toddlers.

There was 4 models in my studio age from 1 year old to 5 years old, one boy and 3 girls. Lots of outfit changes and different props. the shoot was a lot of fun. Really happy with the result, especially with the different props and the use of bench, big box and the swings.

Portrait photography in local woods

Posted on April 8, 2015 by Admin under General information, Location

Took Louisa and Sy out to the local woods for some photography fun. Our mock “SuperDry” catalogue fashion shoot. 3 images with 3 different effects. We brought the decorative frame with me in the woods and secure it on the branches to make it look like its floating in the mid-air. Thou, some of the images comes out look like its just been super imposed in. Lesson learnt!

Updating the Home page for the Digifocus site. Make everything layout like tiles which is really clear and easy for the visitors to see everything I do.

Its time to change the look of the website. More tile form like a blog.

Wedding photography Berkshire

I invited Claire and Martin to the studio to see the music slideshow I put together from the wedding photos I shot for them couple of weeks ago. They came with some friends who were at the wedding that day. This is their reaction.

Wedding photography

A sneak peek of the photos from Claire and Martin’s wedding on Sunday in Northcott House in Sunningdale park. Beautiful location and fantastic wedding.

Use the grand staircase in the hall. I incorporated the portrait on the wall and have the bride stand almost the same kind of posture.

I always try to do something a bit more different than other photographer. I have the vintage twin lens camera with me and have the groom to hold, looks great I think.

Grab a quick shoot of Claire on the chair soon after she had her dress on.
